A collaboration among Carroll School, Lesley University 和 Buckingham Browne & 尼科尔斯学校(BB&N), The Angela Wilkins Program of Graduate 研究 in Education is two dynamic programs each leading to a full Massachusetts initial license 和 a Master’s degree in Education: Moderate Disabilities - Pre-K - Grade 8Moderate Disabilities - Grades 5 - 12.

These intensive fourteen-month programs start in early June 和 end in the following summer. Graduate interns take courses at Carroll School 和 Lesley University 和 student teach in classrooms at Carroll 和/or BB&N. 不像其他项目, graduate students receive nationally-accredited Orton-Gillingham training, 不需要额外费用.

We believe that teacher trainees who are immersed in the classroom under the guidance of a master teacher are better prepared to step into a classroom. Graduate students experience all h和s-on aspects of everyday teaching - mentor/mentee collaboration, 课程/课程设计, 教学原则, 行为管理, 课堂设计, 专业的投资组合, 家长会议, formal 和 informal student assessments.

Masters Fellowship for Teachers of Color

指南针奖学金

In an effort to address the greatest need of each child, we recognize that diversity 和 inclusivity are essential to a child’s learning experience, 有效的教师也是如此. The Fellowship is a 12-month intensive residency-based graduate program. It provides an opportunity for 2educators from historically marginalized communities to obtain a collaborative masters degree 和 licensure in Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 & 5-12 with Lesley University, including free Orton-Gillingham training 和 certification. In addition to fellowship monies, both fellows receive a living stipend.
